Rusty begins his freshman year at Cyprus-Rhodes University and decides to rush a fraternity. However, his older sister, Casey, who's already a sorority member, doesn't want her younger brother to be a part of the Greek scene as well.

Casey tries to get back at Rebecca Logan for sleeping with Evan by giving her the challenging scavenger hunt assignment for initiation. Things take a turn when Rebecca is arrested by campus security while she's in the faculty locker room with a camera.

During Mixer night on Greek Row, Rusty needs a date so Cappie sets him up with a sure thing, but it turns into a dating disaster. Meanwhile, Calvin volunteers to be Zeta Beta Zeta's errand boy in order to help Ashleigh plan the military-themed mixer, but Ashleigh misreads Calvin's enthusiasm for him having a crush on her.

A fraternity floor-hockey tournament causes Evan to doubt Casey's allegiance to his Omega team; Dale devises a plan to help the awkward Rusty play for the Kappas.

As a demanding week of midterm exams approaches, Rusty considers a sure-fire way to keep his grades up while not missing out on the fun at the Kappa house. Meanwhile, sparks fly when Casey and Cappie are paired on a school project.

A snafu in Zeta’s community-service schedule puts Casey in the unfamiliar position of working with Dale’s religious group; lovesick Rusty and Cappie seek distractions from women.

Both Casey and Frannie are nominated for the title of Omega Chi Sweetheart, which creates a cat fight between the two. Meanwhile, Rusty and Jen K. continue to get closer, but Dale, Rusty's roommate keeps getting in the way of them having more private time together.

An article about the Greek system at Cyprus-Rhodes is published in the school newspaper, which sets both the fraternities and sororities into a tailspin.

The new semester finds Casey adjusting to being named sorority president now that Zeta she has split up with Evan and fallen from grace. Meanwhile, Rusty needs to forget about Jen K., Calvin thinks about rejoining the Omegas, and Cappie and Rebecca keep their relationship quiet. The all-Greek carnival gets a special performance from The Plain White T's.

Seeing that the sorority sisters are bored with the new rules at ZBZ, Casey decides to follow all of the rules, but break them at the same time. To do so, she teams up with Cappie and Kappa Tau to throw a Great Gatsby themed prohibition-esque party.

When Cappie seeks revenge on Evan for blowing the whistle on recent underground activities, Omega Chi becomes the victim of pranks from Kappa Tau. Meanwhile, Rebbecca's new relationship causes her rivalry with Casey to intensify.

A rivalry of the Kappas and Omegas becomes a seesaw battle of practical jokes, causing a strain between the friendship of Rusty and Calvin. Meanwhile, Casey intends to bring and end to the overbearing supervision of Lizzie.

As the Greek Ball approaches, Casey and Cappie remember how a friendship was destroyed during their freshman dance, while Casey recalls an act by Frannie which had an influence on her life.

Ashleigh’s preferential treatment from Casey causes dissension within the ranks of the Zeta house. Meanwhile, Cappie takes on the campus rules along with Dales ever growing anti-greek group, and Rusty adjusts to a new relationship.

With the Cyprus-Rhoades prohibitions over with, Kappa Tau and Omega Chi compete for campus supremacy by throwing competing parties. Meanwhile, Casey is attracted to a new frat member, and Rusty reconsiders his relationship with Tina.

Rusty has an identity crisis after Cappie decides all the Kappa’s should practice using their fake id’s now that spring break is upon them. Meanwhile, Casey wonders about her future when after asking Evan’s for help in studying for her law-school admissions test.

Casey decides to finally leave the past behind and cut loose as the Cyprus-Rhoades students head out to the beach for Spring break. Feeling out of place, Rusty cuts his vacation short and looks up some old friends on his way back to campus.
